Candidates must possess excellent speaking and problem-solving skills, as well as be able to instruct and facilitate a diverse group of students in a variety of safety topics.
All applicants should be familiar with all applicable safety regulations and standards, such as OSHA, ANSI and NFPA.
Requirements for all applications:
Prior instructor / trainer experience Ability to lead classroom and practical application training Must be able to adapt to various student learning styles Preferred experience / credentials:
Prior STCW or OPITO experience or credentials Prior IADC or PEC instructor credentials Medical, First Aid, or Fire Fighting experience NAUI or PADI diver certification a plus Oil field or maritime industry a plus Must submit certificates upon request.
