4 Broussard, LA Broussard, LA Full-time Full-time From $60,000 a year From $60,000 a year Packaging Supervisor - Nitrile Plant Job Description Role and Responsibilities Create a weekly or bi-weekly schedule for employees, bearing in mind holidays and times of high volume for the business Monitor and supervise the timely arrival of scheduled employees Help create and continuously improve work procedures and policies Establish tasks for each employee/team to ensure a clean and safe workplace, this included but not limited to stocking and inventory supplies and storing finished product accordingly Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each employee and provide feedback Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior Compile and track data to continuously improve quality and reach production goals Hold weekly meetings to help ensure employee understanding of company policies Complete Weekly and Monthly inventory checks Ensure Quality Control documentation is completed and filed Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in management or other relevant industry field is preferred 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a lead role preferred Extensive knowledge of management theory and its practical applications in the workplace Experience overseeing yearly training plans for departments within the company Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments Experience analyzing company needs, employee development and goal setting Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service Instructional experience in a group business setting preferred Proficient using Microsoft Suite, Excel, Power Point, and other data entry software Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple company initiatives simultaneously Additional Notes WORK ENVIRONMENT/Physical Requirements PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ?
