Duties - Prepare surfaces for painting or finishing by using sandblasting equipment - Operate sandblasting equipment to remove paint, rust, dirt, or other debris from surfaces - Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear while operating sandblasting equipment - Inspect surfaces after sandblasting to ensure they are clean and ready for painting or finishing - Maintain and clean sandblasting equipment to ensure proper functioning.
-Cleaning tools and equipment to prevent clogging or other problems that could result in injury or damage to equipment -Cleaning work areas before and after blasting projects to remove debris and dust -Inspecting work sites to ensure the safety of workers and property Experience - Experience using power tools and operating sandblasting equipment - Knowledge of construction painting techniques and materials - Familiarity with maintenance person tasks such as building, frame carpentry, and basic welding - Understanding of stucco application and construction estimating - Ability to read blueprints and understand color theory for paint selection Note:
