Southern Integrated Solutions & Consulting (SISC) is looking for a full time Electrical Superintendent who has 10
years of Electrical experience in municipal & industrial spaces.
The successful candidate under the general direction of the Companies Project Managers, will plan, organizes, and direct all activities of the project electricians and communications/electronic technicians The Electrical Superintendent plays a key role in the liaisons with the Customers appointed representatives and others in planning and executing ongoing facilities maintenance and capital improvement projects.
The Electrical Superintendent develops and administers labor relations, and other administrative duties as required.
The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for maintenance, repair, and capital improvement programs for a broad array of electrical, communications, water/wastewater systems, various refinement facilities, and oil & gas infrastructure.

Job Description:
Performs full time project site supervision to project completion, assist with project estimations as required (In Office) Implements schedules, assigns, and supervises all activities of the assigned project Report project specific information to the assigned project manager on a scheduled basis Reviews project labor requirements, assists with staffing requirements, sets priorities, and assigns work to be performed Ensures the occupational health and safety of assigned employees in accordance with state and federal regulations, departmental and District policies, as well as industry standards and practices Inspects work in progress to assure compliance with applicable codes and standards, project specifications and quality assurance procedures.
Inspects completed work to ensure that Company and applicable quality control standards are maintained Coordinates department activities with other departments and divisions as required Monitors performance of assigned personnel and conducts performancemanagement and evaluations as required Administers departmental rules, regulations, and policies Participates in employee recruitment, retention, and career development programs Regular, reliable attendance and performance is required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated knowledge of the NEC Technical understanding of electrical construction Knowledge of estimating strategies and techniques Knowledge of electrical design Knowledge of low/medium voltage construction Strong computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel) Strong oral and written communication skills; including technical writing skills Demonstrated problem solving skills Analytical and critical thinking skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy Effective management, budget, estimating, and planning skills Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical individuals Ability to create, manipulate, and read blueprints and drawings Ability to learn through observation and hands on experience Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to gather data, compile information, and make reports Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and meet deadlines Ability to work on and with a team Ability to work and make decisions with minimal supervisio Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license with current satisfactory driving record and means of transportation Education and
Experience:
10 years of Instrumentation & Electrical construction Familiarity with financial and project management principles in municipal and industrial projects In depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas Fluent or Highly Proficient in relevant software (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
