ROLE SYNOPSIS

Baker Hughes'' Drilling Fluids product line provides fluids systems and services that help optimize the drilling and completion processes, maximize hydrocarbon production and manage drilling waste. Leading technologies include environmentally compliant water-based and synthetic-based mud systems and remediation fluids that can restore productivity from damaged wells.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with Mud Engineering experience to join our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Maintain fluid properties on rig sites by testing fluid properties accurately
Maintain inventory at customer well sites
Provide effective customer service by providing rig-site customers and coordinators information regarding the progress of a rig site and create/implement solutions to rig site problems
May make sales calls on the field and field office level or accompany Sales Representative performing the same function
Perform other related duties as required
Provide ongoing support to assist operations in providing our customers the most effective, environmentally safe drilling fluids available while optimizing the well-bore construction process and maximizing our customers'' production
Ability to alternate methods of completing tasks if the set method is not viable
Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma
3 plus years of experience in Mud Applications especially in Deep-water but Offshore at a minimum
Mud School graduate (8 weeks minimum)
Industry experience and product line training required
Quickly adjusts to changing job assignments/requirements
Communicate with various clients and must have good customer service skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Two year Technical Degree preferred
OTHER DETAILS
Must be able to work on call 24/7 and be able to travel offshore.
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
Must be able to work independently
