INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC

We are currently seeking an Industrial Mechanicfor a major customer account in Broussard, LA area.
Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring the timely repair and maintenance of all company equipment. This position is also the case expert in the repair of CNC Machinery which includes Mills, Lathes, Mill Turns and other CNC controlled machines.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Required Skills include the following:
Develops and updates maintenance performance metrics
Diagnose and identify problems related to mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/PLC operation of machinery
Cleaning and replacing complex assemblies and electronic components of machinery
Repair, rebuilding and re-alignment of components in complex pumps, motors, CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, CNC Mill Turn and other CNC and electro-mechanical devices
Installation and demolition of various machines, equipment and facility systems
Plan and prioritize routine maintenance and repair activities
Monitor and schedule recommended servicing and coordinate machine down-time with production supervision
Ability to professionally communicate and work cooperatively with others
Attention to detail a must
Willingness to learn and, as required, assist and/or train others
Familiar with Mazak, Bridgeport, Weller, Willis, and Millitronics CNC control systems
Ability to repair high voltage 3 phase electrical and low voltage control circuits
Familiar with Blueprint reading, basic shop math, Metric and English systems, General Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and/or
Experience:
Associates Degree or Vocational/Technical Degree with a concentration of Machine Mechanics and five or more years of CNC Machine Diagnoses, Repair and Rebuilding Mills and Lathes or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crawl, as well as, sit, climb or balance. The employee will also be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
