JOB SCOPE
Ensure delivery dates are met, maintain a high level of service quality, enforce daily work schedule, meet customer requirements, and maintain a clean and organized shop. Report to Manager on a routine basis. Report to supervisor on a routine schedule.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Present daily work schedule to employees and ensure deadlines are met
Ensure procedures are followed during disassembly and assembly of equipment
Perform safety inspection, yard maintenance, and keep track of inventory in shop
Ensure equipment meets the customers QA/QC requirements
Maintain tool inventory
Ensure equipment, as per the tool list, is delivered to the work location
Maintain a clean and organized shop
Oversee daily JSA meetings
Order shop supplies and parts as needed
Oversee the final function test of equipment
Maintain reports on safety, shop, and yard inventories
Assist in training of Trainees
Support and communicate with all Supervisors, Managers, and Customers
With the assistance from HR: recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5-8 years related experience
Thorough knowledge of safety and work standards
Ability to supervise fellow employees
Good communications skills
Able to delegate work effectively
Able to work closely with fellow employees
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations
Preferred
Oil and Gas experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
