Materials Planning & Execution Specialist

Role Summary:
The Materials Planning & Execution Specialist will plan and manage the replenishment process by creating production schedules and aligning the purchase of materials in support of those schedules. This role provides leadership for the planning and execution of production plans and customer service performance for a product line.
Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Materials Planning & Execution Specialist, you will:
+ Interface with sales, services, sourcing and suppliers in order to schedule the production of complete Hydraulic Lift Units, LHL assemblies and service parts to meet global business demand for NA and Canada
+ Be responsible for material scheduling, updating database, editing routine documents, procurement follow up and expediting management
+ Prepare and execute production schedules for Broussard facility in a timely manner to meet customer demand and delivery goals
+ Conduct daily reviews of shortage and expedite reports to meet demand and maintain inventory levels
+ Be responsible for identifying, resolving and finding the root cause of discrepancies and other related inventory errors for Broussard facility
+ Conduct regular component cycle counts and audit count variances as required
+ Ensure proper transactions take place in a timely manner related to rework and nonconformances
+ Be responsible for WIP job management
+ Manage appropriate inventory levels and align material master to drive appropriate MRP actions based on Broussard facility schedules and S&OP changes
+ Prepare reports on key metrics related to work orders such as (but not limited to) OTD, reporting errors related to inventory and time booking, and variance analysis
+ Drive appropriate actions related to ECOs (engineering change orders)
+ Write, manage, and update the production control data and working rules and drive cost and cycle time reduction with supplier base using Six Sigma methodology
+ Assure that the Broussard facility has the necessary materials, configuration records and tooling to meet required business levels
+ Identify and react to material plans that do not meet Broussard facility requirements
+ Monitor implementation of corrective action plans
+ Prepare and implement work orders and plans as required
+ Be responsible for assigned commodities to meet the requirements of the business
+ Evaluate current and anticipated requirements, determine potential sources, and implement make / buy decisions that align with company goals and objectives related to cost, quality and delivery Qualifications/Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution with a minimum 4 years of experience in Manufacturing) Desired Characteristics:
+ Experience in production control or planning, supervision, sourcing / purchasing and/or material control environment
+ APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management
+ Ability to adapt to frequent changes and be open to learning new job responsibilities as changes take place
+ Experience utilizing planning systems (material requirements planning (MRP) or advanced scheduling systems)
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities
+ Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
+ Strong analytical and organizational skills
+ Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
+ Lean / Six Sigma training
+ SAP experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
